The workshop was comprised of two panels consisting of experts in the field of Trademarks who presented the current legal framework. The panels also examined some notable changes and achievements of the Intellectual and Industrial Section of the Department of the Registrar of Companies and Official Receiver of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry.
Some of the key provisions of the new Trademark Directive (EU) 2015/2436 were also analyzed, and the effects of the Directive’s upcoming implementation were examined.
